About Us

The Economics Commerce & Finance Society (ECFS) is the largest commerce-based student society at Macquarie University and is the pinnacle representative body for all students in the Faculty of Business and Economics. ECFS looks after the vocational, academic and social interests of our members. Click on the headings below to find out more information.

Governance & Constitution

ECFS is an incorporated non-profit association governed by its Constitution. Membership to ECFS is open solely to Macquarie University students studying a commerce related field. The day-to-day operations of ECFS are directed by an executive committee of elected office bearers.

Mission statement

Our aim is to support and inspire students through motivation and challenges to further expand students personal and professional development and thus create positive opportunities and experiences. What we commit to our members is essential need-to-know professional career prospects out in the financial world as well provide fun-loving social events.
